free art exhibits are the best

There is a small backstreet behind Queen West (Toronto) that I like to visit every so often when I’m in the mood to see something I don’t expect. Like this Picasso-esque mural for instance – did not see that coming. The attention to detail within graffiti is phenomenal and I like when I’m caught off guard with these pieces because sometimes I actually get to speak with the artist and see their process. These are some more I found that I think you’re going to like:

For your amusement: the entire side of this building was covered in adorable underwater scenes.

Really nice blue and purple hues. Free art exhibits are pretty great. What have you found around your city lately?
